Belle Bilton
Belle Bilton (1867–1906) was an English music-hall performer and actress. She became widely known after marrying Richard Trench, the 5th Earl of Clancarty, in 1890, a match that caused controversy in Victorian society. Her story reflects the social divisions surrounding the theatre and marriage in late nineteenth-century Britain.
